EXPERienced FRENCH-SPEAKING PROJECT ARCHITECT (M/F/D)

Christ & Gantenbein is an architecture firm with locations in Basel and Barcelona. With around 100 employees, the firm works on demanding projects both domestically and internationally. At our Basel location, we are looking for an experienced French-speaking project architect (M/F/D) 100% REF N° 2025-06-01.

Your qualifications

• Degree in Architecture with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
• High design competence.
• Proven experience in Switzerland or France is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Revit and BIM-Method is an advantage.
• Excellent command of written and spoken French.

You are responsible for the coordination and planning of various planning dossiers and work closely with the project management and project team. You will oversee developing architectural and structural solutions in collaboration with team members, construction companies, external consultants, and specialists. You can take on a task, structure it independently, and work on it. In collaborative processes, due to your experience and sound judgment, you can proactively prioritize work steps, initiate them according to the project phases, and track their progress. You combine a high architectural sensitivity and technical-constructive understanding with a confident application of common representation methods in the design and execution planning phases.

With your hands-on work style and high intercultural competence, you inspire your project team just as much as you convince external project partners. You want to shape the entire architectural creation process and drive it forward confidently in the assigned areas. From the clarity of the architectural idea through all planning phases to the built realization. You communicate with all project participants in a professional manner and can convey the developed architectural concepts and structural solutions clearly and persuasively all the way to execution on-site. You appreciate the vibrancy of a creative environment and show high flexibility in project work.
